Re: PENDING - Application: Eunasty (Warlock)

Sure thing, just bump this thread when you wish to be considered again. (Or if an officer has locked it, just create a new one and reference this one.) Of course, make sure to catch up a bit with instances you can run on your own time, valor gear you can get, etc. And also be very honest with yourse...

Re: PENDING - Application: Eunasty (Warlock)

Hi, Eunasty. I'm retired as a raider, but I have a few questions. 1. I am a dedicated and committed player when it comes to raiding. Most of my evenings during the weekdays are free, and so, making it to most of the raid nights will not be a problem. [...] I cannot guarantee all Sunday nights, as I ...

Re: PENDING - Application: Prellfina (Warlock)

I took a look at the guild history for your character. http://www.wowtrack.org/character/1386433 That's 14 guilds in less than the two years listed, and this is your main. Of the guilds you singled out for progression: you were in Echelon for 4 months (perhaps more if wowtrack doesn't go back furthe...

Re: PENDING - Application: Extrodinaire (Shaman)

Could you please clarify with regard to your Sunday availability. Are you saying you have to leave at 9? Or that you won't be able to join the raid until 9? (All times Eastern US, of course.) Edit: Also, is this schedule conflict likely to be permanent?

Congratulations, folks! Keep rolling. Also, I like this new layout better. And did you actually get people to pose, or is that some sort of magic?

Re: PENDING - Application: Cist (Shaman)

As you probably know, I'm retiring from raiding. That might be why you felt it safe to apply again. But I want to clear the air about a few things. You know the respect I have for you as a player, and that I've never had anything personal against you. We got along well, or at least I feel that way. ...

Re: PENDING - Application: Pyra (Warlock)

Sounds good. I recommend looking for forums that reference those sites, too. In particular, the mmo-champion warlock tree discussion threads for 5.0.x/MoP are actually reposts of the wowraids guides followed by hundreds of people arguing about them, which I consider a good thing. MMO Champ Destructi...

Re: PENDING - Application: Pyra (Warlock)

1. My best stat is Int it gives me the most damage increase by giving me spell power and crit, my second would be hit So I never miss (Missing a long cast time like chaos bolt would be horrible.). After that would be haste, the more haste I have the faster my dot ticks, the faster I can throw out m...

Re: PENDING - Application: Pyra (Warlock)

I know we're at the end of the expansion, specs/rotations just changed everything for everybody a couple weeks ago, simcraft numbers are unreliable, stat weights are certainly less cut-and-dried for performance purposes than they were prior to 5.0.4, but hey, we have to ask a few questions about the...

Re: PENDING - Application: Pyra (Warlock)

Thanks for the app. Describe any prior commitments that could change your raiding availability. My personal Guild (That I raid lead.) Raids on completely different days and will never conflict. Does this mean you intend to raid with two guilds? Riot recruits mains only. Even when schedules shouldn't...

Re: PENDING - Application: Veronicå (Priest)

I understand your input but from what I was told from an 8/8 H DS priest that knows how to spec his own priest without a website telling him Why is it important that we know a person who is not you knows how to spec and gem his priest without a website? Is that a burn? Are we supposed to be impress...

Absolutely, and that's the response we'd hoped to hear from you. We'll mark this DEFERRED for now, and the thread will remain unlocked. Feel free to keep us updated on your progress. And you're welcome to hit up guildies in-game for class advice or maybe to see if they're doing LFRs. (Speaking for m...

Re: PENDING - Application: Triagez (Paladin)

What Eco said is spot on. You can "assure" us all day that you're dedicated, but this newly-designated main that you "LOVE" hasn't even completed an LFR end-to-end. So what should an objective observer make of that? That the paladin is mothballed for PvE purposes until MoP, and then the work begins?...
